The Adventure Park USA Academy Preschool program is designed to prepare your child for elementary school by using the Houghton Mifflin Curriculum, provided to our facility by the state of Maryland. We achieve this in a clean, safe environment.
Adventure Park USA Academy is designed to provide enriching opportunities to meet the needs of 2 to 5 year-old children. Our experienced teaching staff embraces the view that each child is a unique person with an individual pattern and timing of social, physical, and intellectual development.
Our Preschool program consists of small and large group activities, which facilitates development in language, fine motor, and gross motor, cognitive skills in reading and math readiness concepts and social skills. We provide a place where children can learn through play, have an opportunity for discovery, exploration, and express ideas through hands-on learning experiences.
Our communication is facilitated through monthly newsletters, weekly activity calendars, conferences, and other special events throughout the school year. We believe that parent involvement is crucial and encourage parents to become active members of our team.
Our committed and experienced professionals educate preschool and school age children in a wide variety of child care programs. Our children learn through age appropriate play, projects and daily activities. We provide a nurturing, stable, and secure learning environment that fosters lifelong success for every child.
We use the Houghton Mifflin Pre-K Curriculum and the Creative Curriculum which are aligned with the Frederick County Public schools pre-k curriculum. This guides us in planning exciting and meaningful preschool activities that will help prepare each and every child for their entry into kindergarten.
Our Pre-k children have endless opportunities to enjoy a large variety of activities such as; arts and crafts, science discoveries, language and literacy explorations, math activities, outdoor adventures, and endless fun on our park attractions. Our teachers focus on individual children, small group, and large group settings.
